Mountain House Recreation

Proof of a carefully planned community can be found in its tree-lined streetscapes, diverse residential districts, bustling commerce centers, revered educational institutions, and vibrant recreational amenities. With the community envisioned as a true, live/work/play environment, Mountain House goes a step beyond. In addition to the 12 five-acre neighborhood parks that will anchor each of the villages, Mountain House recreation will include acres upon acres of meandering walking trails, bicycle paths, as well as six fully equipped community parks that will be located throughout the quaint village landscape. While all of the neighborhood parks will offer tot lots for younger children, play areas for older children, family picnic areas, multipurpose open space for soccer or softball, and multi-use courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball, or handball, the community parks will enjoy abundant wide-open space and will offer specialized recreational experiences beyond the scope of the neighborhood parks to further enhance the outdoor life at Mountain House.
